It depends on the type of document, the languages involved and the context of the job. As a rule of thumb, I have a daily output of around 3,000 words for translation, between 4,500 to 6,500 for proofreading and 45 to 50 video minutes for AV translation.
This depends on how many and what type of documents you have, the languages involved, how much text there is and the deadline and objectives of your project. When I have this information I can provide a detailed quote.
CAT tools are a translation software that makes it easy to store and refer to translations and terminology used in the past, making the process more efficient and consistent. I use SDL Trados 2015, Fluency, Omega T, Wordfast and other web-based tools. I always treat your documents as confidential.
Sometimes, work can’t wait. I can handle tight deadlines and weekend work at a surcharge and always aim to reply to enquiries within an hour. If you have an urgent enquiry contact me so we can get the ball rolling.
Any translation professional that wants to deliver quality work will only translate into their native tongue. That’s why, with very few exceptions, I only translate into Italian.
But if you need translations for other languages, I can help you. I have a close network of translators and experience in project managing translation work.
